Hello!

My aim is to offer a space that feels safe, respectful, and grounded—where you can be honest about where things are, and begin to move towards where you want to be.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for anxiety, OCD, PTSD and perfectionism

You may look calm, capable and spiritually committed on the outside, yet inside your mind feels relentless. Anxious thoughts race, loop and demand your attention, leaving you trapped in cycles of worry, checking, overthinking, avoidance or mental reviewing — trying desperately to find certainty, relief or reassurance, only for the same thoughts to return louder than before. Perhaps some of the thoughts feel completely against your values or faith, leaving you shocked, ashamed or afraid of what they might mean.

Over time, this can begin to affect far more than your inner world. You may feel irritable with the people you love, emotionally unavailable, distracted at work, hesitant to step into ministry, or too depleted to give your family, friendships and calling the presence they deserve. You might spend so much of the day putting out fires in your mind that there is very little left for the life you are actually trying to build.

You may have tried to pray harder, take every thought captive, ignore the anxiety or “just trust God more”, but instead you feel tied in knots, exhausted and increasingly alone. If your thoughts have left you questioning your sanity, your worth, your relationship with God or your calling, you are not broken beyond help.

Although I have a particular interest in supporting Christians who want faith to be part of the conversation, you do not need to have a faith to work with me. Clients of all faiths and none are welcome, and therapy will always be approached with respect for your own values, beliefs and goals.

I support people:

  • Whose thoughts feel offensive, frightening or completely against their values and faith.

  • Who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, rumination, intrusive thoughts or constant mental checking.

  • Who feel stuck between spiritual advice and clinical reality, unsure whether they need more faith, more discipline or a different kind of support.

  • Who are high-functioning, emotionally aware adults who are ready to do focused therapeutic work rather than stay trapped in reassurance-seeking or short-lived coping strategies.

  • Who feel their anxiety is affecting their relationships, work, confidence, ministry or ability to move forward into what they believe God is calling them to.
