About Me

I’ve been a therapist for nearly 15 years in a variety of schools, community settings and within the NHS. I have a background and core profession as a Music Therapist, and more recently, I qualified as a therapist in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
I have lots of experience working with children, young people and adults, including those with neurodiversity and learning difficulties. I have specialist interest in treating depression, anxiety disorders and trauma.
I am an accredited CBT therapist with the BABCP. I am returning to music therapy practice and will be renewing my membership with BAMT and the governing body of HCPC when I have completed my required number of hours.
I am a practicing Christian, which might be important for some people to know. Whether you have a faith or not, this will not impact your access to therapy with me; nor will it change the principles of my clinical practice.
Outside of therapy, I am married to Jacob and we have a 3 year old daughter called Elodie. We also have a rather cheeky Cocker Spaniel called Coco! Toddler life keeps us on our toes for sure; but I love doing creative and crafty things with her such as baking and painting! When we do get a bit of time to ourselves, we really appreciate good food, a strategy game and catching up with friends!
